Bunkers in Wausau

Really nice golf course!

For being in mid-August, the course was in pretty good shape. Lunch doesn’t start until 2, but the food is good at Bunkers. Funny staff on Sunday, would golf and eat again

It's a good place, will be added to my repeat visit list.

Great portions and a free mamosa with a meal for Suday brunch.Also afordable prices and friendly staff.l recomend you try the east side omlet.

Inexpensive course with some variety in layout. Not exactly the country club, but it's not trying to be. 5$ Fridays for walking the course. Restaurant is pretty good too.

Don't let the external outward appearance fool you, some seriously good food and friendly staff. My wife thinks they're among the best burgers in town.

Some of the employees were wonderful however they were overshadowed by the grumpy rude ones at the bar.

I really wanted to like this place, but it's an absolute joke. I've had less than stellar experiences there before, but my last time was like a Chevy Chase movie- one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. It has a lot of potential things going for it, but the service and food are consistently laughably terrible. Definitely not going back ever again.

The only place in Wausau that I'll eat fish at. Love the cajun fish fry. My friends and I all agree this is the best fish fry in Wausau.

Arrive there for Mother's Day brunch with my mom before 1 p.m.. Waitresses and hostesses acted like they didn't want us to eat there. The brunch was supposed to go till 2 and they would not let us order off the brunch menu after 1 very disappointed. The food is Hit or Miss depending on who's working and what it is. Will never return for food just golf! This is not the only incident we've had there in the last 2 years! Poorly managed place!

I used to not be a fan of the course, but they've clearly made some nice improvements! Great little 9 hole course to get a quick round in at. I'm impressed.

Went on fish fry Friday. First time going here. Waited an hour to get seated, which is not a big deal. Once seated we ordered and got food really fast. My fish was good, but my fiancee's fish was soggy and a little undercooked. We got done eating our entree, then waited 25+ minutes before our server or anyone came back to our table. So instead of getting dessert we asked for our bill, paid and left.

Just spent 170 dollars for 6 people to eat and the food was cold. Mentioned it to the waiter the first time and nothing changed. Not one of us enjoyed the food and we were not the only people to complain. After we brought it up again. He said he would talk to his manager who said only thing they can do is buy us all a drink at the bar. We usually come here and there food is good but customer service was not there. And when we went to the bar the bartender looked mad and didnt really seem to care that we were there.

Had a good time golfing just a lil busy teeing off but, husband loves the course

Never had a bad meal here. Omelettes honestly the size of a Tom Brady football and excellent bloody mary bar as well. Plus 1$ mimosas. Along with excellent service it's my new favorite place for brunch.

Worst fish fry I've ever had, portions are small, condiments are a joke, fish was tough and overcooked. Buddy had perch which was three pieces each about the size of his pinkie??? For 14 bucks, my son loves sheimp, this to was overcooked (fried) and extremely greasy, 17 bucks.. the Cheesehead curds were good. Two people, check was 40 bucks and we had paid for drinks prior to going to table.. one person took order two other people brought food, just a BAD experience.. there are too many good fish fries in area to expeeiwnce. We will not go back

Cool atmosphere and decent food but poor service.

Nice 9 hole course. Good place to learn how or practice. People are friendly and don't rush you. They offer low rates early mornings. It is also a good course to hold corporate events. They seem to do good upkeep too. And in the winter they have cross country ski trail that goes to Sylvan hills, and horse shoe trail
